About Sheldon:

Sheldon joined Platinum team back in May of 2017 as our Field Service Technician at the Midland, TX facility. Since then, Sheldon has developed and grown, not only as a technician, but also as an excellent resource for our production team in the warehouse.

Nomination Remarks:

• Sheldon switched roles from the field to the warehouse back in May/early Summer, and has since dealt wonderfully with the added responsibility (a lot of which he is doing for the first time), and different expectations that come with working in our Midland headquarters. I can often recognize times when he is starting to become overwhelmed, but he always reaches out to people more senior to him in order to make sure that he is prioritizing tasks correctly, doing his job well, and not letting anything fall through the cracks. Sheldon has been critical in not only continuing to increase standards in our warehouse, but also in allowing his colleagues the freedom to focus on other more time-sensitive jobs.

• Sheldon has taken responsibility for a lot of the shop duties. He has taken a tremendous load off the warehouse staff. He completes tasks and projects without being asked or reminded. I also see him helping the service department with troubleshooting and running service calls.
